Renault ZOE - The Electric Supermini For Everyday Use

While the hybrid car era has just begun, manufacturers are churning out electric vehicles for consumers already; the Renault ZOE being the latest addition, aims to be the electric supermini for everyday use. Think Henry Ford, think Ford Model T, but from Renault and an electric car. The Renault ZOE will go on sale in the UK in June 2013, and probably reach Malaysia 10 years later, if ever.

The Mercedes SLS AMG E-CELL: Go Green!

Providing some competition to the Tesla, this all electric SLS AMG E-CELL will feature 4 electric motors that provide a combined output of a whopping 525bhp (392kW / 532PS); yes that is a similar figure from the Audi R8 V10! 880Nm of torque will also ensure that you stick to your seats during acceleration. 0-100km/h (0-62mph) is done in 4 seconds. In comparison, the petrol version of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG has 563bhp (420 kW / 571 PS) and maximum torque of 650 Nm (479 lb/ft), and does 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 3.8 seconds.

Pedal Powered Ferrari FXX (Fahrradi Farfall FXX)

From the outside, it looks quite majestic. The outline truly resembles, a Ferrari FXX. However, from the rear the slim tyres gives it away almost immediately. Featuring something like 12/45/R17 rims, and has a 0-100km/h sprint that is TBA, the Ferrari FXX pedal power / Fahrradi Farfall FXX cost a whopping 1.2m pounds, which is something like 6 million Malaysian ringgit. You could probably buy yourself 3-4 real Ferrari. Definitely not as economical as kit cars! Check out the Honda NSX converted to a Ferrari F50 ! Will probably cost you about RM200k. Much cheaper!
